Getting the Most Out of Your Wine Bottle

Posted by Taylor on 12/3/2013 to Wine Stoppers
When you choose a bottle of wine to enjoy, you may not realize all the amazing things that you can do with it. There are many options besides the normal choice to recycle or throw it away.

The things that you can do with your wine bottles are very unique. You can take just about any component of the bottle and turn it into a stylish item for your home.

What do you usually do with the corks from your bottles? Many people choose to throw them away, but there is a large market of products for those who like to save them. Cork cages are very exciting and decorative, and they come in many shapes and designs. You can even have several so you will always have a piece to compliment your holiday décor. With the millions of corks that are thrown away each year, this is great to keep around to save, then later recycle, your wine corks.

Have you ever thought to use the glass bottles for your favorite flower bouquets? Glasses work extremely well as vases because of their shape. They are deep enough to hold the stems and they create a very appealing image when you put them together with flowers all over your home. This is great for table and counter centerpieces.

Most wine bottles have a label on them. A fun thing to do with these labels is to remove them and keep them on a special bulletin board. It is a great way to keep up with all the amazing flavors that come through your home. When it seems difficult to remove the labels, there are crafting products that can loosen them so you can always keep track of the luxurious wines you drink with friends and family.

Wine bottles can be used for many other things besides holding your favorite beverages. You can use every component of the bottle to make something new that will look spectacular in your home.
