Fun Activities to Do With Wine

Posted by Scott on 2/11/2014 to Aerating Wine
What types of fun things do you do with wine? There is always a good reason to get everyone together and enjoy a glass!

You do not always need an occasion to take part in a special event. There are everyday get togethers that you can create where everyone can get together and enjoys tastes of their favorite beverages.

Have you ever thought to host your own wine tasting event? This is something that you can put together on a weekend when everyone needs to wind down from the week. Getting all of the materials is a breeze because they are all here in your reach. Sometimes people cannot make it to a formal wine tasting, so something that you host in your home may be just the right thing.

One popular outing that many are starting to enjoy is pairing wine and art. Why not enjoy a night out where you can do art, and still enjoy your favorite wines and wine accessories? Not only will you love the wine that you have, but you will also be able to walk away with a piece of art that you can be proud of!

Have you ever thought to have a wine potluck party? No, this does not exactly mean that everyone brings a food dish. Instead, everyone can bring their favorite bottles and accessories to share with someone at the party. If you do not have anything exciting, then you can get a special glass or caddy to draw everyone’s attention. This type of event will bring about lots of great items!

Many people enjoy collecting corks from their wine. Once you and your friends have established a collection of corks, you all can get together and share which ones you have attained. You can keep them together in a cork cage, then create a cork board that shares a little something from everyone’s wine journey!

There are many things that you can do when it comes to wine. Get creative with your activities, and do not be afraid to get everyone together and have a great time!
