Over the years this breed has been known by several different names including Dutch Barge Dog, Smiling Dutchman, Chien Loup, German Spitz, Deutscher Wolfspitz and Wolfspitz. The plural version of Keeshond is Keeshonden?.interesting. This breed is affectionate, good natured, love children, outgoing and friendly with people and other dogs.
